82. Speaker +Bottle Caps

Please listen with a good pair of speakers. There are some low frequencies that would not play back well in phone/laptop speakers.

How it was made: The small microphone (Audix f9) picks up the resonance of the studio monitor (Event P6) when it goes into the hole. With proper gain, the sound is fed back to speaker and reinforces itself. The result is a low frequency howling with reach overtones and visibly active cone surfaces. I put bottle caps on the speaker cone to create some sonic variety.

There was no signal processing involved in this piece. All sound were directly recorded with Blue EnCore100 microphone.
